New Comers

Ok, to start off, you're gonna have to bare with us because we are new to the blogging world! I decided to join the craze because we have a lot going on that I want to keep you all up to date on. For instance, we are little past the 1st year mark, still alive and going strong. We have joined an amazing new church that continues to challenge us. It's called Experience Life and you can listen to sermons and learn more about it at http://www.experiencelifenow.com/. We love serving there so much. On Tuesday nights we host the "Young Marrieds Lifehouse" (community group) This church has recently moved to two services and on Sunday mornings we teach Lil'K Red, which means we try to keep 3-5 yearld entertained and preoccupied for about an hour and a half during the second service. So funny! I am so proud of Greg for jumping on board with this adventure although it is probably the last thing he wants to do on Sunday morning. He is so great with the kids. All the little girls want to sit in his lap and hold his hand. We have made the greatest freinds and it has been such a blessing to us. Other big news, we are closing on a new house this Thursday! It is in the same neighborhood that we live in right now. Its a great location in central Lubbock. We can actually see Tech's campus from our front yard. In our current house it takes me 4min to get to work and now it will only take 2. Im contemplating buying a bike. It will be a pretty hefty remodel but I love a challenge. I'll be sure to post before and after pictures. We are renting our current house to some of our friends from our "Young Marrieds" group. Technically they arent married yet but we let them join our group anyway. They are getting married in May and thats when they will move in. So we have about 2 months to renovate the new house before we are kicked out of the old one. Well, I better get back to work. I dont know how my boss would feel about blogging during work hours. Thanks for listening. Out.

so fun! welcome to the blogging world...it's addictive!

if you are that close to work then you should walk! I did it for almost 3 years (even in the snow and rain) and it's great exercise.
