Summer comes to a screeching hault!

My childhood bff got married to a Dane this summer. Here are two shots from their Colorado Wedding.

This is the beautiful bride Lynsey and Me (wearing my favorite bridesmaid dress ever!)

Well, the summer has officially come to an end and school is back in full swing. This is my last semester of grad school and I am so excited about the adventure that is to come. I am particularly excited about moving back to Dallas after my 4-year hiatus. I can’t wait to be near my very dear friends and family. I am so pumped about hanging out with Bre and her sweet boys, cooking wonderful gourmet meals with my in-laws (you should drop in on them and just see what they are cooking up, always a feast), grabbing lunch on a whim with my mom, and spiritual conversations with my dad over a hot cup of coffee. I even have plans for starting a supper club once we move back. I love to cook and eat so I think that would be grand. I have also started the job hunt for when we move back. Wish me luck on that.

Greg has also started up a new round of classes this fall. I have to admit that his course load is a little more intense than mine. He’s learning Greek for crying out loud. This summer he successfully completed 12hours at DTS, and by successful I mean he has a 4.0 baby! I married such a smartie!

Let’s see, what else is new? I found a really cool website called Girl Talk. It’s a blog and recourse center for all things related to pursuing a Godly life as a woman, wife, mother, etc. There four writers, one is the mother and the other three are her daughters. They are all married to men in ministry. I’m inspired. Here is the link www.girltalkhome.com. You can also click on it from the panel on the right.

That’s about it for me. Maybe one day Greg will write something. Perhaps it will be in Greek.

Peace,

Erin
