The Painted House

We finally did it! After many weekends of scraping old paint, filling holes and repairing rotted wood on the porch overhang, this past weekend we finally got to actually slap some pretty paint on the house. Greg's parents and good family friends the Fletcher's came out to help us. They are so wonderful for giving up their weekend for us!

Over the Christmas holiday, Greg plans to make some shutters and flower boxes. Next we will do some landscaping... the work of home ownership never ends!

I am so excited about Thanks giving this week! I cant wait to see family and friends! We will get to see the Endicotts and Greg's Aunt Bev and Uncle Craig for the first time since the wedding! It will be good to spend sometime with them!
