Recently I have been into painting my nails. I have always liked to have painted toes but I never really cared too much about painting my nails. That's probably because I bit my nails for a long time until a boy I liked in high school asked me, "What's wrong with your nails?" It must have looked like I had a rare finger nail disease. Needless to say, it was enough to make me stop!
Market Street carries a wonderful line of nail polish. It's called O.P.I. and I have no idea what that stands for. If you know please tell me. Anyway, every time I pass the display I am enamored by all the great colors. And they have great names too.....
Front Row Left to Right: "Midnight in Moscow", "Most Honorable Red", "Lincoln Park After Dark" Back Row: "California Raspberry", and "Got the Blues for Red"
Front Row Left to Right: "Midnight in Moscow", "Most Honorable Red", "Lincoln Park After Dark" Back Row: "California Raspberry", and "Got the Blues for Red"You may have noticed that dark nail colors are "in" this season. I was a little hesitant at first to try the really dark ones but I have gotten many compliments on the colors. For me, I have felt more put together when I paint my nails. Polished nails truly makes for a polished look overall.
Not only do they carry more colors, O.P.I. goes on so smooth and lasts longer than other brands of polish. It's about $7 a bottle but I feel its well worth it. The company also gives to many charitable organizations. If you buy certain colors a percentage will go to an organization such a American Heart Association and Breast Cancer Research.
Try it and let me know what you think by either commenting to this post or email me at erin.mcevilly@gmail.com. For more info, visit their website at www.opi.com
P.S. It's a great stocking stuffer!
